Optimise Your Macbooks Functionality

Updated: Nov 19, 2023

We can all agree to have a Macbook can be annoying when you want to connect an external device such as a mouse/keyboard/memory stick or HDMI cable for better use. If you have switched from an HP laptop to Macbook Air or Macbook Pro, you might find its lack of input slots frustrating.

I, a MacBook Air user, would often hesitate to spend any more money than I already have on MacBook accessories however once I looked into what’s on the market, I found fair-priced c port adapters. And the best thing is, I was able to get everything I needed from Amazon! I have created a list on my Amazon Storefont with a variety of accessories in different price ranges but here is a little review and a Tiktok video on how they work.

This adapter inserts into both MacBook c ports. It is great quality and has three USB slots, one HDMI, 1 memory card slot and one c port slot so you can charge your MacBook while using all other slots. The only downfall is it heats up with the Macbook so you maybe need to give it a rest.

Alternatively, if you want to connect one USB device, buy these individual c-port inputs. These have lasted me a whole year and still going. I recommend getting a 3 or 5-pack. they are easy to lose so make sure you store them in a pouch.

The mousepad on MacBook can get annoying to use when using it for a long time and for editing. I recommend getting a physical mouse to help with easy navigation.

That’s it! That’s all for now, I hate to carry too much in my bag so kept it minimal. but I will be adding more to this list and updating it if find something even more helpful.
